How do I become a model in Malaysia with SP Models Runway?
Email 3 to 5 clear recent photos and a short selfie video link with your full name, age, height, weight, city and WhatsApp number to the application email for your category. If you are shortlisted, we invite you to a private casting.
Is it free to apply?
Yes. Applying to SP Models Runway is free, and we never charge an audition or registration fee. You do not need a professional photoshoot; basic phone selfies and a simple phone video are perfect.
Do you hold open castings or walk-in auditions?
No. SP Models Runway accepts applications online only. Shortlisted applicants are invited personally to a private casting, and we contact shortlisted applicants only. If you are not called now, your profile stays on file for future castings.
What if my application is incomplete?
We can only review complete applications with your details, 3 to 5 photos, a short video link and your WhatsApp number. Phone selfies and a simple phone video are perfectly fine. If you missed something, simply send your application again with everything included.
What are the height requirements to be a model in Malaysia?
For runway, women are usually around 170cm and above and men around 180cm and above. For e-commerce, women around 165cm and men around 175cm and above. Commercial and advertising work has no fixed height and focuses on face, personality and confidence on camera.
Can I apply with no modeling experience?
Yes. We welcome new faces as well as experienced models looking for stronger representation. If shortlisted, you receive guidance on catwalk, posing for camera and grooming.
Do I have to sign a contract to work with SP Models Runway?
No. After passing our casting you can work with us on our Freelance Roster. Contracts are offered by invitation to our most professional and in-demand talent, who then receive first priority for jobs, closed castings and a personal career plan.
Can children and teenagers apply?
Yes, but applications for anyone under 18 must be sent by a parent or legal guardian, and a parent or guardian must be present at every casting and job.
